Grufesa has presented an awareness campaign, called ‘Grow Your Values’, in the educational community, which will develop this course in the schools of Moguer and Mazagón to raise awareness of the reality and socio-economic importance of the strawberry sector through an educational project on values that reaffirms its identity and contributes to the social progress of future generations


The commitment with his social and environmental context is one of Grufesa’s distinctive features. The company promotes numerous initiatives of  Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in which it is involved across a global plan designed to try to contribute to the social and environmental well-being of the social groups of his environment. Grufesa promotes a campaign of raising awareness in the educational local community (Moguer and Mazagón) as suitable instrument to sensitize the young persons in school age on the transcendency and socioeconomic impact that has the sector of the berries for the municipality and the region as well as the values that have to preside at the conviviality to guarantee the personal growth as seed to construct a more just and full company of opportunities. ‘Grow your values’ try to arouse, to educate, to form and instruct the future generations in the values and features that really they characterize to the sector of the strawberry in order that they learn to value the importance that has in the economy of an environment that between all it is necessary to take care betting for the sustainability.


‘Grow your values’ is a project designed by Grufesa and organized with Moguer schools Zenobia Camprubí, Virgen de Montemayor and Pedro Alonso Niño, and with The Faro, of Mazagón, whose educational equipments will collaborate in the execution of the same one. The Town hall of Moguer and the Obra Social La Caixa collaborate in the same, and the company Platalea is responsible for the adaptation of content as a partner.


The campaign will start in January at the Zenobia Camprubí, Virgen de Montemayor and Pedro Alonso Niño schools in Moguer, and at El Faro, in Mazagón.


‘Grow Your Values’ will reach more than 1,100 students in second, third, fourth, fifth and sixth grades of the Spanish Primary education, between the ages of 7 and 12.


The campaign, pioneering in the sector, will be developed through five major thematic areas that will be addressed through entertaining teaching units coordinated by the Platalea company.

Some of the associations and social groups that Grufesa usually collaborates with in CSR matters will participate in them, as well as prominent national and international athletes. The students will be taught to understand, identify, put into practice, share and defend social and work values, as well as others linked to healthy eating, the environment and sport.
