Former Recreativo de Huelva player Jesús Vázquez, cyclist Francisco Javier Macías Bonaño, and the handball and badminton clubs Balonmano Pedro Alonso Niño and Recreativo Bádminton IES La Orden have talked to more than 300 Primary students from Moguer and Mazagón about the importance of sport in acquiring healthy life habits as well as in their personal and social development.

This is the fifth and final teaching unit of the ‘Grow your values’ awareness campaign promoted by Grufesa in the Moguer and Mazagón schools to make the educational community more aware of the socio-economic importance of the strawberry sector, in which they have learnt the meaning of values such as commitment, staying power, generosity, effort, responsibility and teamwork, among others.

“Sports are very important in personal development because they educate for life, helping to develop better people, with values, to construct a better society and promote healthy life habits” stated the manager of Grufesa, Carlos Cumbreras.

Grow Your Values’ also involves collaboration by the City Hall of Moguer and Obra Social La Caixa and will be run throughout the school year, reaching over 1,400 students.
